At Marias Handbag, we want you to love your handbag. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we offer a straightforward return and refund process.

1. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • Return requested within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • Item is unused, unworn, and in the same condition as received.
  • Original tags, dust bag, and all packaging materials are intact.
  • Item is not marked as "Final Sale" (see exceptions below).

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these criteria. If a returned item shows signs of wear, damage, or missing components, a partial refund or denial may apply.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Final sale or clearance items (clearly marked on product page).
  • Gift cards and e-vouchers.
  • Personalized or bespoke custom orders (unless defective).
  • Intimate accessories (e.g., cosmetic pouches) due to hygiene reasons.

3. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Email our concierge team at returns@mariashandbag.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. You will receive a return authorization and a prepaid shipping label (for US customers).
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging, including all tags and accessories.
  4. Affix the label and drop off at any UPS or USPS location.

Return shipping is free for US customers. International customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

4. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 5-7 business days), we will process your refund. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.

  • Full Refund: For eligible returns in original condition.
  • Partial Refund: For items with minor damage, missing tags, or returned after 30 days (but within 45 days).
  • Store Credit: Available upon request, processed instantly as an e-gift card.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped).

5. Exchanges

If you need a different size, color, or style, we recommend initiating a return for a full refund and placing a new order. This ensures the fastest processing. If you need assistance, our stylists can help at concierge@mariashandbag.com.

6. Defective or Damaged Items

We stand behind our craftsmanship. If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Provide your order number, photos of the defect, and a brief description. We will arrange a free replacement or full refund, including any shipping costs. This does not apply to normal wear and tear or misuse.

7. International Returns

For customers outside the United States, please contact our support team for instructions. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and keeping proof of postage. Refunds will be processed in USD; exchange rate fluctuations are not covered by Marias Handbag.

8. Holiday & Extended Returns

For purchases made between November 15 and December 25, the return window is extended to January 15 of the following year. All other conditions apply.

9. Processing Time

Returns are typically inspected within 3-5 business days of receipt. Refunds are issued within 24 hours after inspection, though your financial institution may take additional time to post the credit.
